Avid is seeking an experienced Territory Named Account Manager to lead and continue to expand the business with one of our most innovative customers in the Canadian geography. The territory consists of non-Named Accounts, and the responsibility is to protect and grow the current installed base and land new logos directly or in partnership with the partners.

The Territory Named Account Manager will be a key member of the team responsible for providing business leadership and creative direction to our highly visible and important customers. You will build and maintain broad relationships in your assigned territory, develop and manage opportunities, and lead a large team of extended resources in a collaborative way.

What you’ll do
  • Manage several Named Accounts within the Northwest territory, mostly the current installed base, and a few prospect accounts.
  • Sell at the most strategic level within the account and implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation.
  • Team with all aspects of the customer's organization, including executives, engineering, business owners, legal, and others. Skills required to build relationships across assigned accounts include creative thinking, articulating a clear vision, and generating enthusiasm to impact all business groups.
  • Work with all appropriate Avid resources (Executives, Solution Architects, Pre-Sales, Business Generations, Marketing, Partners, Finance, Deal Desk, Support, Service teams, and Professional Services) to support customer interests, understand how to strongly advocate for your customers and balance that with the business needs of Avid.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Use SFDC and forecast with +/- 5% accuracy.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in business or technology or equivalent work experience.
  • The candidate must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience working at a technology company as the account and relationship manager of a large territory.
  • Must be located in Canada
  • A BA or BS degree in computer science, engineering, business, marketing, or related field (MBA preferred) and a minimum of 5+ years of enterprise selling experience. Other experiences include experience in large complex deal negotiations with a successful track record; ability to navigate across Avid and the customer in a trusted advisor/consultative approach; and establishing credibility quickly with senior-level executives across the organizations.
  • A strong understanding of Avid and/or technology as a service (Subscription and SaaS)
  • Media and Broadcasting experience is preferable
  • Proficiency in French is preferable
