Schedule: Mon-Fri 40 hrs/ week but not limited to weekends : With 1 Saturday & 1 Sunday per month. (The Saturday and Sunday don’t have to be in the same week)
Location: 54 centennial pkwy N, Hamilton
Pay rate: $22/h
What does an Instructor in Hamilton do?
-Primary task will be to train GardaWorld employees on Garda course such as Use of Force and other related Awareness where you can teach new and experience employees to conduct their jobs professionally and safely.
-The successful candidate should have significant experience within a law enforcement agency with focus on Defensive Tactics, Firearms, Officer Safety and be able to demonstrate the ability to design, develop and deliver courses to the target audience.
-Ordering, Issuing and tracking uniforms, PPE Equipment or high value items such as Tactical Vest, Handcuffs and Batons.
Qualifications to become an Instructor in Hamilton ?
-Prior Use of Force & First Aid instructors certifications an asset
-Experience in the Security or Law Enforcement
-You have presentation skills to present and explain highly complex information clearly and accurately for learners
-You have written communication skills to prepare course materials and other reports
-You can provide expert testimony at judicial hearings and coroners inquests and undergo cross examination regarding teaching methodologies and legal interpretations used in the design of training content
-Full G Driver's license and ability to travel to other branches(Guelph, London, Sarnia, Windsor, Toronto) if needed
-Own Vehicle
