We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Virtualization to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Responsibilities:
· Architect and deploy virtualization solutions using platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.
· Collaborate with infrastructure teams to plan and design virtualized environments that meet business requirements.
· Configure and optimize virtual machines (VMs), storage, and networking components.
· Develop automation scripts (using tools like PowerShell, Python, or Ansible) to streamline virtualization management tasks.
· Automate provisioning, scaling, and maintenance of VMs and virtual networks.
· Provide technical support for cloud virtualization services, addressing user inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
· Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, connectivity problems, and resource allocation challenges.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve complex virtualization-related incidents.
· Plan and execute workload migrations from on-premises environments to the cloud.
· Assess application dependencies, compatibility, and performance during migration.
· Optimize resource utilization and minimize downtime during migration processes.
· Implement access controls, encryption, and other security measures to safeguard virtualized environments.
· Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., PCI DSS, HIPAA) and organizational policies.
· Regularly audit and assess security configurations.
· Monitor system performance, resource utilization, and availability.
· Set up alerts and respond proactively to potential issues.
· Maintain comprehensive documentation, including configuration details, usage guidelines, and troubleshooting procedures.
