POSITION SUMMARY
The Visitor Experience Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the museums galleries and public spaces. This position oversees the museums opening and closing procedures, manages the responsibilities of the admissions desk, upholds policies and procedures, and works collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient business operations. This role is responsible for the management of frontline staff, the Visitor Experience Team (VET), ranging from 1012 team members. This includes hiring, training, scheduling, role modeling, coaching, and mentoring the VET to maintain high levels of customer service. The Visitor Experience Manager plays a critical role at the museum as the lead of customer service, safety and security, facility maintenance and cleaning. The Manager works closely with other Education and Exhibits team members to achieve a high level of visitor satisfaction.
