• You have an education in Visual Merchandising or industrial design and at least 3 years’ experience of working as a visual merchandiser in a fast-paced retail environment.
• You can lead, motivate and fully engage a team of Visual Merchandising co-workers to achieve defined goals and help to position the IKEA store as a creative and inspiring destination that

always offers a unique shopping experience.

• You demonstrate strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts verbally and interpret them visually.
• You have the aptitude to prioritize and organize work and the work of others in order to make the most efficient use of time and resources available.
• You have excellent analytical and strategic skills and the ability to lead the store's activity in the short, medium- and long-term and can promptly take initiatives and deal with unforeseen

challenges.
Your responsibilities

• Provide home furnishing solutions for a single product or a combination of products to improve people’s life at home.
• Ensure the use of the store layout as a commercial tool to plan and implement commercial strategies throughout the store while creating a good overview and strong visual impact.
• Responsible for gathering and translating knowledge of people's needs and dreams in the local market into relevant and inspiring range presentation solutions that support a convenient

shopping experience and reflect the local needs of life at home.

• Lead a team of Visual Merchandising co-workers in creating relevant, inspiring, affordable and commercial range presentation solutions that reflect a wide variety of styles, price levels, and

customers preferences.

• Develop, and inspire coworkers by coaching and identifying internal talent to ensure succession planning for all key roles.
• Provide active support in developing the department’s action plan using layout as a commercial tool as well as range presentation and vitality initiatives that are focused on growing the

business and supporting long-term profitability and implementing defined plans in conjunction with the Com&In team and other functions.
