The Opportunity
As a VP, you will lead the critical role of starting Agentis’ North American Diversified Industries advisory practice. You will be expected to win advisory mandates, successfully execute on multiple mandates concurrently, build and train a growing team of practitioners, and consistently provide high-quality, bespoke services to our clients. You will play a significant role in the growth and direction of this business segment, seizing opportunities to expand into new geographies and industries.
Your role will include:
Identifying and pitching for mid-market advisory opportunities with private and public sector clients
Leading transaction teams to successfully execute advisory mandates
Developing a growing advisory team including the addition of junior and senior members
Setting the strategic direction and implementing the strategic plan for the business unit
Liaising with the broader team for cross-group opportunities

Your Skills and Experience
Minimum eight years of relevant experience in investment banking or private equity
Ability to develop and execute on client relationships
Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to direct the financial modeling of junior team members
Experience with tax structuring, cashflow waterfalls, governance and transaction documentation
Effective presentation skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
