Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a part-time Web Designer and Social Media Assistant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our Social Media presence across various platforms, implementing Social Media strategies, and engaging with our audience to enhance brand awareness. The candidate will also be responsible for redesigning and implementing a visually appealing, user-friendly website that effectively communicate our brand.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
- Develop engaging and shareable content for various Social Media platforms, including
but not limited to text, image, and video content.
- Collaborate with the management to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and
marketing objectives.
Design and Development:
- Create visually appealing website designs that align with brand guidelines and client
specifications.
- Develop website layouts, user interfaces, and graphics using HTML, CSS, and other
relevant tools.
Platform Management:
- Monitor and manage Social Media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,
LinkedIn) by scheduling posts, responding to comments, and proactively engaging with
the audience.
- Stay updated on platform algorithms, trends, and best practices.
Technical Skills:
- Ensure website is responsive and compatible with various devices, browsers, and
screen sizes.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and other web design languages.
Graphics and Multimedia:
- Create and optimize graphics for web use, including icons, images, and multimedia
elements.
- Ensure that visual elements complement the content and enhance the overall design.
Audience Engagement:
- Foster a positive online community by responding to comments, messages, and
mentions promptly and professionally.
- Implement strategies to increase audience engagement and interaction.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Track and analyze Social Media performance using analytics tools.
- Prepare regular reports on key metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Campaign Support:
- Assist in the planning and execution of Social Media campaigns.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate Social Media into broader marketing
initiatives.
Social Listening:
- Monitor Social Media for industry trends, competitor activities, and relevant discussions.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on social listening.
Requirements:
Education:
- Pursuing or completed a degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or related field preferred.
Experience:
- Demonstrable experience in managing Social Media accounts (personal or professional).
- Familiarity with Social Media management tools (e.g., Hoot suite, Buffer) is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Web Designer showcasing a couple of web design projects.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, etc.
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
- Basic graphic design skills for creating visually appealing content.
- Knowledge of Social Media trends and best practices.
Time Management:
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Adaptability:
- Comfortable adapting to changing Social Media algorithms and trends.

Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $16.75-$32.54 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
