Located only a short 20-minute drive east of Parliament Hill, you will find the stunning Camelot Golf & Country Club - a private member-owned club with high standards of operations, focused upon providing service excellence to our members and guests.
We are seeking an exceptional, talented and experienced individual to join our team.
As a Wedding coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing all aspects of weddings, ensuring that each event is a memorable and seamless experience for our clients. If you have a passion for hospitality, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and preferences for their wedding day
- Assist clients in selecting venues, vendors, and other wedding-related services
- Create detailed wedding timelines and itineraries
- Manage budgets and ensure that all expenses stay within the allocated budget
- Coordinate with vendors to arrange services such as floral arrangements, photography, and entertainment
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of wedding venues
- Ensure that all necessary permits and licenses are obtained for each event
- Provide on-site coordination during weddings to ensure that everything runs smoothly
- Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during events
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery
Skills:
- Excellent time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of the weddings & Events market
- Strong budgeting skills to manage expenses effectively
- Upselling abilities to offer additional services or upgrades to clients
- Exceptional organizational skills to keep track of multiple weddings simultaneously
- Outstanding guest services skills to provide exceptional customer service throughout the planning process
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and trends
- Previous experience in restaurant or Club/Hotel management is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and other team members
