ATAC LAW CONSTRUCTION LAW / LITIGATION ARTICLING POSITION

ATAC LAW was founded by two graduates of UBC Law with a passion for practicing law. We currently employ 6 lawyers and two Articled Students, practicing primarily litigation. The ideal candidate would demonstrate an interest and skill in advocacy. At ATAC LAW, our main driving force is our desire to make clients happy. At the end of the day, our reward is the appreciation for the help we've given. We are looking for an Articled Student who shares a similar mindset and has the same values as the team at ATAC LAW and isn't afraid to step out of their comfort zone by taking on significant responsibility.

ATAC LAW is well known for its experience in construction law and civil litigation, but the Articled Student would have the opportunity to practice in the following areas of law:

-Administrative tribunals
-Criminal law
-Corporate law
-Family law
-Construction law (Contract drafting and Litigation)
-Engineering law
-Personal Injury
-Employment Law
-Civil litigation
-Driving Law

Our firm is flexible and will encourage you to develop your skills as a lawyer at your own pace. By joining our firm you will be able to work on our files in great number of these practice areas under the supervision of friendly and helpful senior lawyers.

Our Articled Students have always been in attendance at multiple trials during their articling. They also have always had some of their own files and own clients (which are provided by the firm).

Your duties will primarily be to assist the lawyers on more complex cases.

A background in engineering and science, or construction, is an asset.

Professional working proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.

You must have a juris doctor or LLB from a Canadian university to apply.

Salary: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
