Job Summary

This position supports the development and management of insurance products and sales metrics enabling analysis and insight to support purposeful business strategies, sales, marketing and performance management tools. It also supports corporate goals of revenue enhancement, prudent NIAT growth, and market leadership.This role clearly supports the attainment of our strategic objectives and greatly influences the brand reputation for RBC Insurance.

Job Description

Product Management Support

  • Provide administrative support to the Individual Markets Portfolio Management team as required
  • Support the Life & Health, Wealth and Travel Product teams with requests
  • Assist with organizing department Shared Drives and SharePoint sites.
  • Assist with updating internal and third-party competitive intelligence sites with new / updated product rates and sales/marketing material.
  • Assist with completing Competitive Intelligence requests
  • Research and provide answers to Life & Health, Wealth & Travel product management inquiries.
  • Contribute to defined projects or tasks under direct supervision.
  • Document processes or update existing procedure manuals.
  • Develop product or service knowledge and competence in tools and business processes used in the department.
  • Support Actuarial Testing
  • Other duties as assigned.

Please note: This posting is for a 4 month student placement with a start date of May 2024, and end date in August 2024. In order to be eligible for this 4-month student position, you must either: be returning back to school after the work term end-date of August 2024 ; or if you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in August 2024), you must require the full 4-month work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
