Within RBC’s Personal & Commercial Canadian Banking Operations (CBO), the Operations Centres are delivering best in class service within all lines of businesses including the Business Lending, Personal Lending, Specialized Services, and Transaction Services. Our overarching goal, through employee engagement, is to meet client commitments, improve productivity, and create a superior client experience.  The Operations Centres are a great foundation for understanding banking and can be a spring-board to other opportunities elsewhere in CBO and RBC.
 

What will you do?

  • This position is a flexible work arrangement to work from home or on site.
  • Assists with supporting of the on/off boarding of Remote Office / Work from Home Employees. This would include coordinating the setup of the home office technology.
  • Assists with managing the Remote Office Employee (ROE) generic mailbox and shared folders.
  • Assist with the set-up of New to Bank Employees, Home Office Reviews and ordering of office technology equipment.
  • Assist in reviewing current policies and procedures to enhance efficiencies.
  • Manages Business Partner expectations.
  • Managing the flow of inventory for New to Bank Employees.
  • Raises issues and conflicts to the ROE Subject Matter Expert for tracking, removal of barriers, resolution of minor project issues, etc.
  • Seeks clarity in business requirements or escalates as appropriate.

What do you need to succeed?

Required:

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution
  • Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly do business with partners across Canada
  • Ability to grasp information quickly with high attention to detail
  • Aptitude for a multi-faceted and complex environment, able to adapt quickly
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organization skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
