Please note: This posting is for a 4-month Student Summer 2024 placement with a start date of May 2024 and end-date of August 2024. In order to be eligible for this 4-month Student position, you must either:

  • Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of August 2024; or
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in April/August 2024), but you require the work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
  • Please ensure that you meet these eligibility requirements before applying - candidates who apply but are found to be ineligible are not able to be considered.

What is the opportunity?

You will work in a fast paced, collaborative team who supports 150 people.  This team works with many stakeholders and leverages data from multiple sources of information to management and front-end staff have the best tools at their disposal to manage their business effectively.

For this internship opportunity, we are looking for an individual to take a lead role in management reporting . This includes but is not limited to working with partners in Finance, sales, credit and operations.

What will you do?

- Work with our team and other stakeholders to create customized management reports. 

- Update existing content and create new for front-end sales staff.

- Present opportunities on how to improve current management reports

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program.  Engineering / math / computer science students are preferred.

- Strong written/oral communication skills to develop and present thoughtful and insightful explanations

- Proven competence/comfort level with building and organizing data.

- Ability to problem solve complex problems and take ownership to finding solutions.

- Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.

- Attention to detail and time management is critical

Nice-to-have

- Previous exposure to financial services industry

-Proficiency in Excel
