Cassens Transport is looking for four 310T licenced mechanics to join our team to assist in
the repair and maintainance of our fleet of carhaul tractor trailers at our shop facility located in
London, Ontario.
Pay & Benefits:

Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week. Overtime is offered on an as-needed basis)
Base hourly wage: $43.51/hr
+ $2.00/hr Shift premium for afternoon shift = $45.51/hr
+ $2.50/hr Shift premium for midnight shift = $46.01/hr
Shift Hours*:
Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm
Midnight Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 pm to 6:30 am
Weekend Day Shift: Friday to Sunday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm
Weekend Day Shift: Saturday to Monday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm
* All mechanics are Unionized and therefore shifts will be determined in order of seniority.
Responsibilities and Duties:
* Diagnose and repair defects to a variety of systems such as lighting and electrical, cooling,
exhaust and aftertreatment, brakes, drive trains, suspensions, steering, clutches,
transmissions, hydraulics, welding, tires and more
* Perform preventative maintenance inspections and annual safety inspections in accordance
with MTO guidelines
* Test drive vehicles to verify repairs
* Maintain a safe and clean, productive and efficient work area
* Follow health and safety rules and regulations
Qualifications and Skills:
* 310T Truck & Coach Technician Licence required
* 3-5 years experience on heavy fleet equipment and vehicles preferred
* Experience with computerized diagnostics such as DDL, Wabco, Volvo Tech Tool an asset
* Experience welding steel and aluminum an asset
* Experience with hydraulic systems an asset
* AZ drivers licence an asset
