443A Millwright Drive In/Drive Out

Job Description :

Our client is a highly reputable operational mining company and is currently seeking a Red Seal (443A) certified millwright to work on-site at our processing plants in Wawa, Ontario.

This opportunity is a 7 on/7 off, Drive in-Drive Out position that offers a competitive salary, extended health benefits, long-term disability, and RRSP plus 5% match. You’ll also have extensive training and continued learning and development opportunities.

Camp accommodations and home-made meals will be provided while on your rotations.

You will also be eligible for a Travel tax exemption credit.

Shifts are 12 hours/day shifts and $46.87 per hour plus overtime

What you’ll be doing:

-Maintenance of plant and mill operation equipment

-Analyze, diagnose and troubleshoot day to day equipment issues

-Preventative maintenance and cost-effective planning

-Operation of specific equipment including man lifts, forklifts, overhead cranes, etc

-Assist in commissioning of new installations and equipment modifications

-Help with continuous improvement and make recommendations for improvements

-Safety and environment is top priority and all issues are reported accordingly

-Reporting to Lead Hand Millwright and Mill General Foreman

Required Qualifications :

Qualifications:

-443A/Red Seal certification

-2 plus years experience in an industrial or mining environment

-Ability to read and interpret blueprints an asset

-Experience in computer-based maintenance facilities an asset

-Experience with Ball mill and cone and jaw crusher equipment an asset
