Position Summary
The Academic Quality Data Analyst assists in the maintenance and organization of the academic data across the college. Reporting to the Dean, SLLAE and working with the Academic Quality Assurance team, the incumbent ensures the integrity and accuracy of academic documents, creates and maintains the centralized data repository, and provides updates to relevant stakeholders. The incumbent also begins the process of creating and maintaining accessible, up-to-date academic information, supports faculty with quality assurance tools, and assists with quality improvement initiatives across academic areas.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Search for, collect, and analyze Academic Quality assurance documents, reports, and related data from across the college
- Ensure academic data is relevant and complete
- Categorize academic data to ensure easy accessibility in a centralized online hub
- Organize and maintain a central repository of academic data, updating information as required
- Create reports on the status of missing academic data and provide updates to relevant stakeholders
- Develop support and training resources for use of the centralized repository and other quality assurance tools
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Completion of a two (2) year diploma in Business, Office Administration or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in data management and/or academic administration
- Experience with Academic Quality assurance considered an asset
- Experience in stakeholder engagement is an asset
- Strong computer literacy skills
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written communication) and reporting skills
