Job Description:
This position is for a crucial role as an entry-level accounting technician. You will be responsible for keeping our financial records in order and establishing, maintaining, and balancing various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. Your work will directly contribute to the smooth operation of our financial processes. You will post journal entries, reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books, maintain general ledgers, and prepare financial statements.
Accounts Payable and Receivable Working Knowledge.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Income testing for senior citizens
Keep track records of payments for Long Term Care setup
Time Management.
Ability to multi-task.
Work in a collaborative team environment.
Monthly Reconciliation and procedures with QuickBooks.
Generates weekly/monthly financial statements detailing the status of receivable and payable statuses.
Do electronic reports and follow up with managers.
Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and writing.
Ability to interpret and analyze financial data/invoices/receipts.
Accountant ethics and laws.
Inventory Management
Manage all data and company information confidentially and with high regard for policies.
Other accounting duties assigned as needed/required.
Qualifications:
Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field.
Bookkeeping or accounting courses, along with several years of financial or accounting clerk
