Ride Cycle Club - RIDE is an innovative boutique concept that is challenging the status quo of indoor cycling. Each RIDE is a full body workout designed to reboot and strengthen both your mind and body. RIDE combines an intense cardiovascular sweat, micro bike movements and full body toning reinforced by the authority of music.
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Lead to work on our finance team in our head office in Vancouver. The ideal candidate works within the 3.5 person AP team to provide financial, administrative, and clerical services to ensure efficient and accurate support for the finance department. This is an opportunity to apply everything you have learned to date and build on that within a team committed to results.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure that all invoices received are entered accurately per approval matrix
- Manage Accounts Payable inbox
- Work closely with the Accounting Manager and Accountants during month end to ensure accruals are completed
- Onboarding new vendors to ensure all validations are followed
- Biweekly AP list payment processing, posting, and remittance issuing
- Ensuring all EFTs, ACHs, and wires are entered accurately into the banking system
- Proactively collaborate managers to ensure all invoices are flowing accurately and on a timely basis
- Other duties as assigned from time-to-time by the Accounting Manager
- With two to three years' experience in Accounts Payable
- Relevant education in finance or accounting is preferred
- Highly organized and able to prioritize to hit deadlines
- Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including excel
- Experience with SAP and CONCUR is an asset
- Experience inside a multi-entity environment is an asset
