What You’ll Do

  • Contact customers regarding overdue payments
  • Discuss payment plans and other options to help customers meet payment obligations
  • Investigate and resolve customer inquiries related to billing, payments and outstanding balances
  • Build rapport and establish positive relationships with customers
  • Generate collections and Accounts Receivable reports
  • Provide updates to management on the status of accounts
  • Create and distribute monthly client accounts
  • Ad hoc projects to support the accounting team

What You Bring

  • Between 2-4 years of collections/Accounts Receivable experience
  • Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Business Administration or related field  
  • Experience in a legal setting is a big asset
  • Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication and client service skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities
  • Attention to detail with great problem-solving skills
