What You’ll Do
- Contact customers regarding overdue payments
- Discuss payment plans and other options to help customers meet payment obligations
- Investigate and resolve customer inquiries related to billing, payments and outstanding balances
- Build rapport and establish positive relationships with customers
- Generate collections and Accounts Receivable reports
- Provide updates to management on the status of accounts
- Create and distribute monthly client accounts
- Ad hoc projects to support the accounting team
What You Bring
- Between 2-4 years of collections/Accounts Receivable experience
- Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Business Administration or related field
- Experience in a legal setting is a big asset
- Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Excellent communication and client service skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
- Ability to juggle competing priorities
- Attention to detail with great problem-solving skills
