Osprey Electric is a mid-sized electrical company on Vancouver Island. We were awarded the VICA Employer of the Year for 2023. We are looking to hire a part-time AR Assistant Accounting Assistant. For this position, we are seeking a friendly, outgoing, knowledgeable, and long-term candidate who appreciates a fast-paced work environment. This position would be ideal for a person with experience in Accounts Receivable and collections. This is a part-time position 4 days per week in the office.

A successful candidate should have a sense of humor, be a fast learner, and have the following skills would be great:

• Strong computer skills.
• Intermediate skills in MS Office.
• Basic accounting experience.

· Preparing and sending invoices to clients.

· Ensure all receivables are up to date and under 60 days.

· Handle incoming and outgoing AR-related phone calls.

· Assist in basic administrative duties.

• Great phone conversation skills and ability to build client relationships.
• Attention to detail, and ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must love dogs.
• Able to take instructions/directions and feel comfortable asking questions.
