The Opportunity: The Addictions Recovery Program Manager is accountable for overseeing the day to day support and programming to responsible for overseeing and monitoring the effective delivery of the Addictions Recovery Program, Indian Residential School Support Program and National Native Alcohol and Drug Abuse Program (NNADAP).

  • Assist in establishing a yearly budget which encompasses all expected expenses and project for any expenses that the program might incur
  • Approve and monitor monthly program expenditures as required by the various programs within the budgeted allotments and ensure the most effective use of resources
  • Oversee purchase orders related to program costs; submission of cheque requisitions; program staff time sheets and accounts payable cheques through various online platforms including ADP and Xyntax
  • Ensures contractual obligations are met and financial reports are completed.
  • Provides effective planning for the In-Patient and Outreach Treatment Program in accordance with the program's guiding principles, goals and objectives.
  • Develops after care services policies and procedures. Ensures such policies and procedures contain client assessment, recognition of other community-based services required as part of the treatment process, and referral of the client to community-based services.

What You Will Bring to The Role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work a related field, required
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a management role
  • An equivalent combination of experience and education in a related field as well as recent supervisory experience may be considered.
