We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. The Support Worker will provide assistance and support to individuals in need, ensuring their well-being and promoting their independence. Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals
- Facilitate/cofacilitate psycho social groups such as boundaries, anger management
- Maintain accurate records of individual progress and report any concerns or incidents to the appropriate supervisor
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure coordinated care and support for individuals
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in computer operation and ability to work with computerized systems
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and ability to work independently
- Strong administrative skills, including record keeping and documentation
