About Us

AEDN Realty is a private real estate investment company founded in 1950. AEDN assets include equity interests in multi-family, industrial, retail, student housing and commercial properties across Canada and the US. AEDN also engages in development and management of retail, commercial and residential properties.

We are a seeking a highly organized, driven, and motivated individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to going the extra mile to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Financial Management

  • Process checks and pay bills on Hopem (property management software).
  • Process monthly recurring payments and expenses.
  • Manage sporting events tickets and payments, including scheduling, transfers, and coordination with partners for purchases.

Travel Management

  • Handle all travel bookings and manage modifications as necessary.
  • Ensure contracts with hotel partners are current and secure the best rates available.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Ensure documentation is properly stored and saved on servers.
  • Format templates and documents as needed.
  • Handle miscellaneous requests and manage deadlines for projects.
  • Assist in creative projects (labels, designs, cards).

Event Calendar and Charity Coordination

  • Assist in the coordination of events and charitable initiatives.
  • Manage schedules and calendars.
  • Coordinate Christmas giving and donations, as well as bank runs and deposits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relevant equivalent
  • Prior administrative experience or relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
