ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
The Health Centre provides evidence-based and collaborative health care solutions to our patients. Our therapists include Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Naturopathic
Doctors, Registered Massage Therapists, and an Acupuncturist. We pride ourselves on providing the best possible care to our patients and supporting them in their pursuit of optimum health and overall quality of life.
This Administrative Support role is currently two or three shifts per week, Monday through Friday from 4 pm to 9 pm and Saturdays from 8:30 am to 4 pm. There will also be additional weekday shifts available throughout the spring and summer months. The starting rate of pay is $17.00 per hour and there are lots of employee perks.
Description
Manage the appointment schedules for all therapists using electronic clinic management software. Receive and process payment for services. Submit insurance claims electronically on behalf of patients. Manage incoming telephone calls/voicemails/emails. Organize correspondence, sort and distribute mail, scanning, faxing and mailing correspondence. Contribute to creating a warm, welcoming, positive and safe atmosphere in the clinic at all times.
Requirements
- Must be resourceful, organized, and have strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and to multi-task in a busy environment.
- Proficiency working in an electronic environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Communication skills, including spelling and grammatical accuracy.
- Reliable, friendly, and enthusiastic.
- Experience in a medical or rehabilitative clinical environment is an asset.
- Familiarity with the services offered at The Health Centre and the terminology used in a rehabilitative clinical environment.
