The Toronto District School Board offers a number of Enhanced Language Training (ELT) Programs in different occupational sectors at the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) 7-10 at various locations across the GTA until March 31, 2023 (with the possibility of an extension). These assignments run throughout the year.
The ELT Program provides language training that will enable newcomers to apply for, secure, retain and progress in positions relevant to their professions or trades.
If you are TESL certified, and are interested in being considered for the position of ELT Instructor in the ELT Unplanned Supply Pool, please complete the Employee Services Unit B ELT Unplanned Supply Pool Application form and return per the instructions below.
Location: ELT sessions are offered at various locations and are subject to funding and enrolment
Program Dates: Day-to-day unplanned supply assignments throughout the year on an as needed basis commencing January 09, 2023 until March 31, 2023 (with the possibility of an extension).
Program Hours: Monday to Friday
9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Salary: $45.50 per hour (plus 3.4% statutory holiday pay and 4% vacation pay)
