Advertising, Promotion and Marketing Specialist

We are a locally owned and operated business in St. John’s, currently looking for a highly energetic person to join our team. This individual would be responsible for developing and implementing a plan to help promote our company and increase Social Media engagement. This position includes working with different Medias to coordinate our marketing, advertising and promotions. Responsibilities:

· Plan promotional campaigns and special events.

· Establish our web presence to boost brand awareness.

· Support marketing methods to increase profitability.

· Maintain strong online company presence through social media.

· Design digital media and other forms of promotions.

· Understand all forms of social media including Facebook, twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and stay up to date with media developments.

Requirements:

· Strong leadership skills.

· Experience in event planning and community events.

· Strong skillset in Graphic Design.

· Experience with Social media strategy.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Creative outlook and ideas on promotions.

· Solid knowledge of Photoshop, and other media editing software.

· Familiar with web design and content management.

· Able to work independently and perform under tight deadlines.

· Excellent research and analytical skills.

· Minimum 10 years’ experience in similar role.

· Professional designation or equivalent work experience.

This is a full-time position with flexible hours. This position requires working onsite. We offer a competitive salary with health benefits and dental. Bonus structure available.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
