Job description

Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Rentals and Business Development, the incumbent is responsible for corporate rentals and logistics for events in the multifunctional rooms and different spaces of our port facilities.

Rental of multifunctional rooms:

  • Manage the various rental requests for multifunctional rooms and rental spaces of the Grand Quai
  • Carry out a needs assessment (site visit, technical needs, catering, etc.) with client users according to the spaces available at the Grand Quai
  • Write submissions and agreements with client users
  • Support the Manager in solicitation and business development processes.

Logistics of multifunctional rooms:

  • Coordinate all activities and needs of client users of multifunctional rooms as part of the activities that will be held there,
  • Ensure follow-ups regarding insurance, document signatures, payments, customer requests, post-event surveys, etc.
  • Write the logistics sheet and ensure its distribution,
  • Ensure coordination with external logistics agents and external suppliers,
  • Ensure a presence for certain events which will be held on the premises of the Grand Quai,
  • Follow up with user clients and liaise with the various internal APM stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration (marketing specialization) or in events.
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Have a large network of contacts and enjoy a certain notoriety and appreciation in the corporate rental sector.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of important market players (event planners, wedding planners, caterers, suppliers and service providers).
  • Have great skills in customer service and customer support.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, French, English and contract negotiation.
  • Have a good capacity for work and great professional integrity, and a willingness to take initiatives.
  • Above average skills: tact, diplomacy and persuasion skills necessary to deal with various external clienteles.
  • Developed organizational skills and ability to work effectively on several files at the same time with tight deadlines.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Mastery of the Office suite
