Aggregate Processing Labourer

Fowler is seeking Aggregate Processing Labourers for our materials division, to perform physical labour and provide support in all activities involved in the production and processing of stone, aggregates, and asphalt.

Key Duties:

• Actively and safely participate in the plant’s cleaning and preventative maintenance programs.
• After receiving training, safely operate equipment as per the Foreperson’s directions .
• Perform and document daily equipment maintenance duties as required.
• Constantly observe and report all plant deficiencies to the plant Foreperson.
• Participate in company sponsored training programs to obtain all certifications as required by the government and Fowler regulations, i.e., Surface Miner and Fall Arrest.
• Constantly build your knowledge base of all plant operations.
• Conduct yourself in a professional and mature manner.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Experience working in the aggregates trade is an asset.
• Ability to perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
• Available to work 55-60 hours per week.
• Must be able to stand, lift 50 lbs., carry, bend, reach.
• Must have the ability to work on a team and take direction from others.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license.

Work Conditions:

• Travel to various sites may be required.
• Outdoor environment in various weather conditions.
• Overtime, evening, and weekend work may be required.
