SUMMARY: A key member of the Customer and Trade Performance team, the Agreement Analyst is the subject member expert on the contract to claim/accrual process. This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of trade agreements and accruals; ensuring customer and trade are properly reported and accurate manner. The Agreement Analyst will lead and champion opportunities to streamline trade fund cycle time, promote cross-functional learning, optimize transactional efficiencies, and increase data integrity. Additionally, the Agreement Analyst will be responsible to support high priority projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• 
  Key liaison between Sales Finance, Trade Administration and Sales team as the subject matter expert on the contract/agreement to claim process providing setup of agreement & settlement analysis and recommendations to drive reduction in invalid deductions and payment.

• Own entire process of trade agreement entry and maintenance in McCain systems ensuring adherence to all administrative standards and audit controls.

• Working closely with Finance, Sales, and Pricing teams in entry of Distributor, program, or pricing (OI) agreement entry.

• Act as Subject Matter Expert on Vistex, following all the process and tools provided by Sales Finance in relation to agreement entry. Control the naming convention in Vistex, as to separate each fiscal year accrual and payment/deduction.

• Own and maintain the membership lists in Vistex and customer/territory relationships in Vistex.

• Leverage subject matter expertise by engaging the Trade Claims Team, sales, and Finance in claim analysis and reviews. In addition, need to work closely with the CRM and pricing team.

Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Accounting, Finance.

Required Length & Type of Experience:

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in sales administration, financial analysis or accounting is required.

• Prior experience working with tight deadlines and demonstrated responsibility for accuracy and timeliness for work performed.

• Microsoft Office skills are required, must be proficient in Excel, SAP, and Vistex.
