Autonomously conducts diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance tasks on agricultural equipment owned by customers or dealers. Ensures high-quality work and customer satisfaction while maximizing efficiency and productivity.
Primary Responsibilities:
Equipment Diagnostics, Repairs, and Optimization
Perform Service Technician duties independently, including:
Disassemble, recondition, and reassemble components.
Perform intricate diagnostics.
Repair agricultural and turf equipment.
Occasionally perform Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) work, but not on a regular basis.
Possibility of specializing in specific equipment types.
Undertake a combination of workshop and on-field (road) assignments, including Precision Ag repairs.
Execute all assigned service tasks.
Conduct machine start-ups, as needed.
Optimize machine performance.
Assist or support customer clinics, if required.
Maintain the working condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.

Maintain a consistent labor performance rating of at least 75% or higher.
Attain over 80% labor performance on a long-term basis to be eligible for advancement to the next classification.

Position Profile
Capable of performing basic repairs and maintenance tasks using specialized tools and equipment in accordance with Technical Manual procedures.
Curiosity to learn repair methods, materials, tools, and techniques utilized in agricultural equipment repair.
Proficient in operating vehicles and diagnostic equipment.
Able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. repeatedly and handle weights between 40-75 lbs. when necessary.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including varying shifts, weekends, and holidays if required.
Possession and maintenance of a valid driver's license is mandatory.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Certified Journeyperson or equivalent.
Over 4 years of experience performing service repairs.
Knowledge of engines, hydraulics, powertrains, air-conditioning, mechanical and electrical systems used in agricultural and turf equipment repair, specifically those marketed by the dealership.
Effective communication skills in reading, writing, and speaking with customers and colleagues.
High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
Forklift license preferred.
Motivated to learn and work diligently.
