MAINTAIR AVIATION SERVICES has a 35+ year history of providing safe, customer focused aviation services. As we continue to grow, we are currently seeking candidates for PART TIMEAIRCRAFT CABIN CLEANER in Thunder Bay ON!


SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

Part time shifts

Sun- Fri 9pm-2am/3am (overnights)

Note: The timings may change based on the flight delays

JOB SUMMARY:
Aircraft Cabin Cleaners work under the direction of the Cabin Appearance Lead and/or local Station Leadership to ensure all aspects of aircraft cleaning are met according to specific company policies & procedures. Safety, attention to detail, following company procedures, and team work are key components to be a successful Cabin Cleaner. The ideal candidate must possess verbal communication skills, be energetic, outgoing, understanding and accepting of change. They must also be flexible, be able to work overnight, and able to deal with the adapting nature of aviation and all aircraft cleaning requirements as specified by the specific airline or operator.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide Deep, Turn and Overnight cleaning services to all client carriers.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our internal team and external customers.
  • Complete tasks as outlined in cleaning task cards.
  • Follow prescribed cleaning instructions.
  • Ensure economical use of cleaning products and supplies.
  • Ensure proper staging of cleaning products, supplies and necessary equipment ahead of aircraft arrival.
  • Attend all required training sessions and successfully complete training courses.
  • Actively participate in company safety programs.
  • Work as a team member in a safe, efficient, professional manner.
  • Adhere to published uniform standards and requirements.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and safe workplace procedures.
  • Take direction from grooming lead/supervisor and local station leadsership.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to apply and secure an Airport Restricted Area Pass (RAIC).
  • Must have valid driver’s license with clean abstract.
  • Ability to speak, write and understand the English language.
  • Previous cleaner (aviation, commercial or residential) experience would be an asset.
  • Must have excellent team player competencies.
  • Must be able to work overnight shifts (ex. 10pm to 5am)
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision, and/or in a team environment working varied and/or split shifts.
  • Must be willing to adapt to the changing nature of aviation.
  • Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Must be willing to work in small Aircraft Cabin conditions.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

$85.00 per year Protective Footwear Allowance.

50/50 Paid Uniform Allowance & Annual Top Up.
