Summary:Want to play free golf all summer? Do you enjoy engaging with golfers and
helping to create a memorable guest experience on the golf course? The Shuswap
Lake Golf Course is looking for Golf Course Ambassadors for the 2024 season. Roles
include working as the course Starter, and course Ambassador.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests on the first tee and going over daily procedures, cart rules for the

day, pace of play expectations, recording golf cart numbers, and making guests
feel welcome and excited to play golf!

• Driving the golf course to monitor pace of play, assist in needs of the golfers,

replacing and seeding divots, fixing ball marks, tidying washrooms

• Assisting in different tasks around the golf shop, driving range and restaurant

Qualifications:

• Passion for engaging and guests and providing great customer service.
• Golf course and playing knowledge is an asset

Compensation:

Golf Course Ambassadors work 2 days a week in 6 hour shifts, and in return receive a
free membership to the Shuswap Lake Golf Course. This includes free golf, driving
range & cart privileges Monday to Thursday between 8:30am – 3:00pm, and after
5:00pm, and Friday – Sunday after 1:00pm. Also included are discounts to the
restaurant and golf shop.
