We are looking for an Analytics Consultant to join BrokerLink and work out of our Toronto, ON or Glenmore, AB Office on a Permanent Full Time Basis.

What the Role Entails:

• Gather data from multiple data sources to develop, test and implement performance monitoring reports.
• Analyze large volume of data from multiple sources to identify business opportunities and find solutions to strategic challenges. Share the conclusions and provide recommendations within the established timeline.
• Apply your technical knowledge to build sustainable advanced analytics models to improve our broker and customer experience.
• Support and collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including front line managers, human resources, finance, and technology by advancing current analytics processes.
• Drive change by improving work processes and making substantive observations, conclusions and recommendations.

The Successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, business management, finance, computer science, statistics, or related discipline
• 3+ years' experience working in the financial industry, specifically insurance
• Analytical mind and strategic thinking skills coupled with results orientation
• Skilled communicator, ability to interact with multiple teams and departments and adapt information to fit the audience
• Strong technical understanding to challenge the business
• Thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly changing and growing environment
• Advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, MS Access skillset.
• Programming knowledge: SAS, R, Python, skills desirable.
