River glen veterinary clinic is a single veterinarian, fast-growing new veterinary clinic in the heart of Oakville. Our business hours are minded by work/life balance of our staff.
We are seeking to hire a cheerful and animal loving individuals to fill our Animal Care Attendant role
All applicants will be considered. Although preference will be for candidates with experience in Animal Care as well as knowledge of AVImark software yet, we will happily offer training. Pay rate depends on years of experience.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Telephone, in-person, and electronic interaction with clients to book appointments, schedule follow ups and provide surgery preparation instructions to clients.
- Prepare vaccination records, travel certificates, and submit insurance claims.
- Following up on our patients by telephone or email and updating their charts on Avimark.
- Generate and email immunization reminders.
- Co-ordinating and submitting lab sample collection requests to IDEXX reference laboratory.
- Inventory stocking, registering and price updates.
- Facility sanitizing, tidying and cleaning.
- The job includes humane restraint of animals (i.e. cats and dogs) for vaccine/ medication and maintaining the comfort and daily care of all in-hospital patient
Working hours are minded by Life-Work balance:
- Mon-Thu 9:30-6:00pm
