Application Security Engineer (Mid) - Active Ts Clearance Required

You will support the protection of the United States, its critical infrastructure and its people from cyber attacks by nation states, terrorist and criminal organizations. Working side by side with government professionals and experts responsible for cybersecurity and infrastructure protection, you will develop world-class expertise specialize in identifying, analyzing and mitigating cyber vulnerabilities and defending against threats.
As an Application Security Engineer specializing in vulnerability mitigation and intelligence, you will be responsible for devising and implementing effective strategies to mitigate vulnerabilities, enhance cybersecurity defenses and provide actionable intelligence. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying, assessing, and responding to potential threats. Performing open-source research to identify vulnerabilities using common vulnerability intelligence and vulnerability management applications.
This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to be in our Fairfax, VA office two days per week.

• Due to the nature of the government contracts, this position requires US Citizenship.
• Active TS clearance required.
• Strong understanding of secure architecture and implementation of detection and prevention tools such as IDS, IPS and firewalls.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support priority objectives and improve cybersecurity posture.
Desired:
• Experience conducting vulnerability assessments and management using open source and commercial tools such as Tenable Nessus, WebInspect or AppDetective.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $96,500 - $185,500.
