Responsibilities:
- Perform butchering tasks such as cutting, trimming, and preparing meat products for sale
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the highest quality and safety of meat products
- Receive and inspect meat deliveries to ensure freshness and quality
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of meat products
- Package and label meat products for display and sale
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or as a butcher is preferred but not required
- Strong knife skills and ability to handle various cutting tools safely
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Able to work with others (team setting) or work individually with minimal supervision
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary: $15.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
