```Duties:```
- Assist journeyman/journeywoman plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand the layout of plumbing systems
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand and power tools
- Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure they meet building codes and regulations
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure efficient and effective plumbing installations
```Qualifications:```
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training is preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing principles and practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects as required
Skills:
- Blueprint reading: Ability to understand and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Mechanical knowledge: Understanding of the principles and practices of plumbing systems, including pipe materials, fittings, valves, and fixtures.
- Welding: Proficiency in welding techniques to join pipes together securely.
- Building: Ability to construct, assemble, and install plumbing systems according to specifications.
- Assembly: Skill in assembling pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures accurately.
- Maintenance: Knowledge of routine maintenance procedures for plumbing systems to ensure their proper functioning.
