Arborist Assistant

Fredericton Tree Service Ltd. is Fredericton’s longest serving tree care company that was established in 1985. We strive to provide quality tree care and excellent customer service. Being ISA certified, we work in accordance with ISA standards and safety practices.

Requirements:

· Must have 2+ years of chainsaw experience

· Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

· Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds

· Forestry or arboriculture related background an asset

· Must have own transportation to and from business location

· Strong knowledge of knot and tree identification

· Must have clean driver’s abstract

· Must be hard working and safety conscious

Duties:

· Arrive to work on-time

· Haul brush to chipper

· Carry wood to truck

· Job site clean up

· Work Monday to Friday, 7-9 hours per day

Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
