Arborist/Climber

Loves Tree Removal is looking for a full-time experienced Arborist to join our crew. We work out of Madoc, ON but provide tree services to all surrounding areas. We are a Family owned company of 30+ yrs with plans for expansion.

Job Description/Responsibilities

• Good understanding of pruning practices and tree removal (including storm damage)
• Safe use of chainsaw operation (must have chainsaw licence)
• General knowledge of chainsaw and chipper maintenance
• Strong knowledge of knots and rigging
• Ability to identify trees and shrubs in the area
• Ability to lift heavy logs and drag brush
• Polite and courteous when communicating with clients to ensure their needs are met
• Bucket truck and stump grinding operation is an asset
• First aid training
• Those with tree climbing experience will be given high level of consideration

Other

• DZ license an asset
• Clean drivers abstract
• Must have own transportation to the shop in Madoc
