Job Summary
Articled Student Program - Notice of Articles
The British Columbia Ministry of Attorney General offers interesting and varied articles at its offices in Crown counsel offices around the province. The BC Prosecution Service (BCPS) will be interviewing soon for one fluently bilingual (English - French) Articled Student position which will have a 2024 start date. Under the guidance of Crown counsel, students work on files relating to criminal prosecutions and may have the opportunity to gain experience in Special Prosecutions and Appeals.
Who Can Apply
Anyone who is entitled to work in Canada as of May 1, 2024 and is eligible and required by the Law Society of British Columbia to complete articles in order to practice law in B.C.
You must have the ability tospeak and write fluently in French and English.

  • a cover letter (not to exceed one page);
  • copy of your law school (LLB/JD) transcript
  • your résumé (not to exceed three pages) which must clearly indicate that you can speak and write fluently in French; and
  • If you completed law school outside of Canada, you must also provide us with documentation showing that either you are pursuing a Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation or have been granted the certificate. You will need to have been granted that certificate by May 1, 2024.

There is one Bilingual Articled Student position available. The position can be located in Vancouver, New Westminster, or Port Coquitlam.
