What role you will play in our team
This position is for an Indigenous student currently in first or second year of a common law degree program at a Canadian university. The successful candidate will be located in Imperial’s Law department in Calgary, AB and will assist in-house lawyers in the provision of legal support to the Imperial organization.

What you will do
Responsibilities may include: legal research; writing opinions and memoranda; drafting letters, pleadings and contracts; project work of a legal nature; and participating in meetings with in-house lawyers and internal clients.
About you
Skills and Qualifications
-1st or 2nd year student of a common law degree program at a Canadian university
-Must be eligible and registered for the Law Society of Alberta’s 2022 Indigenous Law Student Summer Employment Program
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
-Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment
-Enthusiasm for gaining and sharing knowledge 
-Work schedule: Full time position

Eligibility to work in Canada
