As Artistic Director, you will co-lead the gallerys vision and operations, forming part of a shared leadership model. You will collaborate closely with the Administrative Director and engage with a seasoned programming and administrative team. Along with our Board of Directors, and a network of community partners, supporters, and funders you will elevate the gallery's stature and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Curate and direct innovative exhibitions and manage the Permanent Collection.
Play a pivotal role in strategic decision-making in tandem with the Administrative Director and the Board. Including writing grant proposals.
Engage with community partners to enhance gallery outreach and impact.
Supervise and mentor a dedicated team, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Fine Arts, Art History, or related fields.
Demonstrated experience working in an art gallery
Strong leadership and collaboration skills in a shared governance model.
Proven experience in building relationships with community partners and funders.
Criminal record check required for employment.

Active participant in Board meetings, offering artistic insights to guide governance decisions.
Develop and nurture relationships with key community stakeholders, fostering a supportive network for the gallery.
