Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

Job Duties

• Coordinate asphalt operations and oversee employees at construction sites. Communicate with asphalt plant, truck drivers and dispatch.
• Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
• Oversee paving crew and projects daily, accountable for establishing, monitoring, and maintaining efficient and safe operating procedures for all paving projects.
• Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
• Responsible for a team of 5-10 employees.
• Utilize asphalt knowledge to apply quality control measures.
• Ensure manpower and resources are adequate

This is a physically demanding job which requires working outdoors in all weather conditions. The applicant must be able to lift / carry heavy objects and do repetitive tasks.

Requirements:

• Experience on a LeeBoy 8515
• Possess a clean driver abstract
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Minimum 5+ years experience in Paving
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment
• Prioritize, delegate and perform all work placing safety first in all things.
• Positive attitude and presentation
• Ability to engage in physical labor on a daily basis
• Ability to work a flexible shift schedule

Compensation:

Wages are competitive and based on knowledge, experience and qualifications.

Salary: $30.00-$35.00 per hour with growth opportunities.

Bonus Incentive for End of Season Performance.
