Assembly worker- Skilled Labourer

We at Kelly Services are looking for a candidate with Manufacturing Generalist experience to work with our client Pratt & Whitney Canada on a 1-year contract in Enfield, NS!  As the successful candidate you will be required to work 12-hour rotating shifts in a 24-7 environment. We're looking for someone has great attention to detail, enjoys completing repetitive tasks, and have the skill set listed below. You will be welcomed into a safe, clean, and respectful environment where teamwork is encouraged.

Shift Schedule: Rotating Continental Shift: 3-2-2 6:30-6:30 (3 Nights, 2 Days, 2 Days off and rotating then to 3 Days, 2 Nights, 2 Days Off)

Information:

· Schedule & hours: Rotating 12-hour shifts; days, nights, and weekends

· Location: Enfield, NS

· Start date: ASAP

· Duration: 1 year

· Pay rate: $19.05/23.00$ hourly (based on experience)

· 4% vacation pay

· Statutory holiday pay

Job Specifications:

· Work in a team environment, in a specialized manufacturing environment

· Detailed oriented, highly precise assembling task, as part of the complex manufacturing processes

· Experience working with manual machines & tools and related software’s

· Ability to set up, monitor, and troubleshoot equipment

· Read and interpret blueprints

· Clean work equipment and area

· Complete and update paperwork and on-going training requirements, including documents on a computer

· Work accurately, timely, and safely following outlined policies and procedures

· Manufacturing background experience is a must!

Requirements:

· Grade 12 or GED

· 1+ years Manufacturing experience

· Basic computer skills

· Personal, reliable, transportation

· Clear Criminal Background Check

· Favorable Credit Check

· CSA safety footwear – steel toe boots
