Key Job Duties:
- Assists the project team in the asset procurement process.
- Liaises with external equipment suppliers to discuss pricing, change orders, contract terms and conditions; identifies related technical issues and works with the supplier to resolve the issues.
- Prepare preventative maintenance work schedules.
- Track and record preventative maintenance of critical equipment, ensuring complete service records and inventory accuracy. Set priorities for preventative maintenance work orders, maintenance requisitions and scheduled work.
- Maintain adequate supplies and equipment for the maintenance department.
- Maintain inventory of new equipment, manuals and warranties.
- Maintains an up-to-date knowledge base of heavy equipment, light vehicles, technological advances by reviewing literature, attending product forms and networking with suppliers and vendors.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of related industry experience
- Strong computer background including experience with MS Word and Excel and scheduling software.
- Previous experience working with First Nations an asset.
- Willingness to contribute actively in team activities, sharing experiences and ideas.
- Ability to work to deadlines and see tasks through to completion.
- Proven track record of Asset coordination and team collaboration.
