Assistant Applicator

We are seeking dedicated and hard-working Assistant Applicators to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in the application of our weed control measures across various sites in the region. The position requires flexibility to work long hours, sometimes out of town, and a reliable method of transportation to our shop location.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the application of herbicides using UTV and ATV mounted systems, targeting unwanted vegetation while conserving beneficial flora.
• Engage in various environmental management practices including mechanical control, erosion control, and soil remediation to support the health of natural ecosystems.
• Operate safely in rural and remote locations, adapting to long hours (typically 12-hour shifts) and flexible scheduling based on weather conditions.
• Utilize specialized software for precise tracking of herbicide application across different sites.

Requirements:

• Valid license
• Ability to work up to 12-hour shifts
• Willingness to work out of town when necessary
• Reliable transportation to our shop's location
• Ability to work well within a team and maintain a high level of professionalism
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
