Requirements:
Must be 16 years or older. Must have knowledge of, and/or interest in, preparing, cooking and serving meals for a large number of people. Some experience is an asset. Completion of Department of Health Food Handlers Course within the past 5 years (or willingness to complete before commencing position. Familiarity with summer camp, particularly LBC an asset. Must be friendly, flexible, cooperative and work well in a team environment. Responsible, punctual, organized, and self-motivated.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation, serving, and clean-up of all meals at camp. Ensure all meals are nutritious, ample and on schedule. Ensure all health regulations and LBC Kitchen policies are followed. Maintain positive, cooperative relationships with other staff, campers, and volunteers. Be involved in other areas of camp life as required or as schedule permits. Take on other duties as required by the Head Cook and Camp Director.
