We are currently searching for a dynamic Customer Focused Assistant Management Team for our Parksville location located on Vancouver Island.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Assistant Management Teams assist the Resort managers in the overall operations of the camp resort including but not limited to; reservations, maintenance, Landscaping, Hosting, programming and after hour security duties.
As an Assistant Management Team, you will be instrumental in maintaining great customer relations & service to our guests, as well as maintaining a clean, well-kept camp resort.
Teams are full time positions for each team member plus all call responsibilities.
As part of your remuneration, the ideal candidates will live on-site in their own newer model RV unit with full 30-amp hookups and access to high-speed wi-fi and other services. The site is provided rent free * please note, this is a taxable benefit in accordance with CRA regulations.
You will be comfortable working both as part of a small staff team and independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- General maintenance
- Customer service & relations
- Administrative, registration and check-in duties.
- Store operations
- Cleaning facilities, including office/store, laundry, and bathrooms
- Outdoor maintenance work
- Host and security functions(late night)
(teams should be able to fulfill all duties between each team member)
Key Skills:
- Minimum one year experience working in a guest services environment preferably within the tourism or hospitality industry
- Physically able to walk up to 5KM per day and conduct rounds through campsites. Continuous need for bending, lifting and carrying of materials.
- Experience in operating small machinery such as, bobcat, small backhoe, small tractor, lawnmower, weed eater, chainsaw.
- Work is primarily conducted outdoors and must be able to work in all weathers.
- Ability to interact well with people and maintain effective working relationship with manager.
- Open and able to work different shifts including late nights and weekends.
- Ability to remain calm in all situations.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $41,600.00 per year
