Assistant Manager

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at our equipment rental company. Our company is committed to providing top-notch service and equipment to a diverse range of customers, and the Assistant Manager will play a key role in ensuring our continued success

Responsibilities:

Assist the General Manager in managing daily operations of the rental company, including overseeing rental transactions, scheduling deliveries, coordinating repairs and maintenance, and managing inventory.

Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and a commitment to excellence.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the tool and equipment rental industry, construction or associated industry.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
• Proficient in the use of computers and modern technology, experience with rental software a plus.

• G Class license (minimum)
• Clean driving record
• Minor construction knowledge is an asset
• Mechanically inclination is an asset
• Customer service experience is an asset
• Wage based on experience

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday (7am - 5pm) , Saturday (7am - 1pm) during Spring, Summer & Fall
• Monday - Friday (7am - 4pm) during Winter

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $28.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 56 per week
