We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented individual to join our team as Assistant Service Manager. In this pivotal role, you will work with the Service Manager oversee the operations of the service department.
The ideal candidate for this role would have strong customer service skills and experience in the automotive industry.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day activities of service department staff.
- Schedule and assign tasks to ensure coverage and efficiency.
- Provide guidance, support, and feedback to team members.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
- Resolve customer issues promptly and effectively.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and proactively recommend process enhancements, training initiatives, and equipment upgrades to optimize service efficiency.
- Uphold a safe and compliant work environment, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to occupational health and safety.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills.
- Experience in automotive industry is preferred.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service, resolving customer issues, and building long-lasting customer relationships.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, enabling effective prioritization of tasks and resources to meet customer demands.
- Proficiency in service management software, Office 365 including Microsoft Teams, and other relevant computer applications.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a strategic mindset and a focus on delivering tangible results.
- Valid driver's license.
