SalaryBest West Pet Foods is a well-established pet specialty store with multiple locations throughout Manitoba and Ontario. We are currently looking for a full-time Assistant Manager for our store at 1150 St. James Street, Winnipeg, MB.
Duties to include working with Store Manager and staff to drive sales, control inventory, maximize profit and provide extraordinary customer service. You will assist in recruiting and developing new staff as needed, as well as coach existing staff to help them reach their full potential. You will ensure that all of our customers are given service that exceeds their expectations.
Applicants must be outgoing, high-energy and customer focused. You must be able to lead/motivate staff and be a team-player. Must be proficient with computers including the use of Excel, email and POS systems. This position involves a lot of repetitive lifting and rotating of product so applicants must be able to lift 50lbs comfortably. The successful candidate will be required to complete Pet Store Pro, an online learning program. You must be willing to work varied days and hours based on business needs. Above all, you must be an animal lover!
